The Road to Serfdom by Friedrich Von
Hayek is a classic. Discusses totalitarianism, shows how economic freedom relates to
social freedom. In context, this book explains current political and economic
policies. Hayek Economic Theory is the basis for "free market" economies,
and the theory for Reagonomics, trickle-down economics, as well as the economic paradigm
first employed by the United Kingdom long ago.
von Hayek and Milton Friedman have produced the economic minds of people like Ronald
Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul O'Neill, George Shultz,
Paul Volcker, Alan Greenspan, George Bush, Sr., Dick Cheney and the favorite son of the
leaders of the plunderer set is George Bush..
Note that the President I left out is Lyndon Johnson (watch Path to War on HBO), and
that Jimmy Carter was the designer for the new world order (intended to be more
compassionate). See the 1961 edition of the Encyclopedia Brittannica. Look up
the Tri-Lateral Commission. You won't get the same explanation as what is on the
web, or in later editions.
