The Short Version

I took it upon myself to begin this site just in a personal effort to organize the daily news in a manner that allowed me to see the actual chronological progression of events and remarks by leaders, and compare them to the actions that were actually being taken.

At this point, thousands of people around the country have pledged to work with us on our current projects, and we will work with them on theirs, to make sure that freedom of speech and freedom of the press, civil rights, elections... to make certain that we are not stripped of these, and any voice in our own country that may remain. This is in less than 2 weeks of sending out the word publicly, with little exposure and no search engine listings.

Why? Because they understand why this is so important. Soon, there will be many thousands, and as we move to form a legal Global Democratic Citizens Union (or whatever name we all decide it should be) to act as a "voice" to the government and corporations, as well as organize people for ecological and food supply projects (after demanding our money back from the government)... there are many issues we can solve legally without governmental permission or cooperation.

The name of this site was based on 2 things: 1) A desire to see a true, functioning democratic system (has nothing to do with the democratic party) 2) A reaction to the war mongering and divisive tactics to spread hate and lies about what fundamentalism means. Americans have been shamefully lied to on this topic to fulfill political goals... and PROPAGANDA in general is the biggest tool and culprit, because it is so dishonest and destructive.

I am a registered democrat, solely because I understand the need to be sure that no single party has a federal tri-fecta, where one party has control of the House and Senate and Presidency at the same time (that would allow them to pass any legislation they want, without discussion, AKA, no checks or balances.) I want neither the democrats or republicans in control. I want an open discussion on the facts, and rational decisions made for the good of the country, not political expediency. Checks and balances.

Mr. Bush's recent speech to the Corporate leaders merely reaffirmed my concerns at the lack of concern of this administration for the people.

That said, there are two things I request you read. They're not too long. But consider them warnings and inspiration. And make up your own mind. Both are listed at the bottom of this page.

Television is the most powerful communication medium on the planet. As with people who are elected, there are responsibilities that go with the trust bestowed on such people and organizations. Think about the implications, the power it gives them to sway public opinion.

So, that trust has been violated. Time and time again. I think it's criminal. In many cases, some political activities were illegal, but covered over by a sympathetic, if not an intimidated, manipulated press. Not hard to understand when you understand who owns most major media outlets in the U.S..

I do not say these things lightly. And it sounds extreme, but the tactics being used are straight out of Hitler's playbooks. Read. You'll understand I"m telling the truth. I truly wish I was wrong, but I'm not.

Propaganda at this level of influence is dangerous and irresponsible, and should be illegal, just as is subliminal advertising. Propaganda is nothing more than the overt form of subliminalization. It is on this basis that we will seek to revoke their broadcast licenses.

So, make up your own mind. Are you one of the thousands of people walking around saying "Everyone knows Bush stole the election " and then shrugging your shoulders as if it doesn't matter? Or, are you one of the angry people saying "Why doesn't somebody do something about it?" We're doing something about it.

Either way, make up your own mind and do what you think you should do as a good citizen to empower Americans by empowering America. That's what made this country great. That's the only thing that will keep it great. The people. You and me.

Finally, there are times when materials on this site may seem extreme or stuff you wish you didn't have to think about... I ask that you only understand that when you are spending most of your time following the events of the entire world, and trying to understand the patterns, it can be a little daunting... makes ya wanna scream.. I apologize for the extremes. All I ask is that you understand that I am doing this to make a contribution... to empower Americans with information so that we may make informed observations and choices, and not simply acquiesce to the government out of fear and hopelessness.
